hurricane season is on us and the weather has been extreme! We have been learning a-lot too. This week a 80knot wind pushes us on to a sand bank. It was quite scary!
Many boats broke loose, there were Coast Guard everywhere on this day. The catamaran next to us clocked 90 knot wind on its wind indicator. One power vessel landed up on the beach and had to be salvaged. The weather has been extremely rough every day at around 3 o’clock. We sailed in just before this thunderstorm. The. TowBoat US Captain told us that this has been one of the worst thunderstorms he had ever experienced in Florida.
We were all safe and happy after the storm, this was formed before hurricane Dorian made its way towards West Palm Beach
