This is the very first sail of the season on my small sailing Boat the 2-29 Cal we call “Little Miss”. We sail from West Palm beach to Biscayne Bay near Miami. On the way we see seven Quarantined cruise ships. I couldn’t imagine being trapped on a giant boat like that with so many other people. My heart really goes out them. Homeschooling marches on for Bianca and I can finally report that she is really gaining a love for sailing. I thinks as kids we tend to dislike what we grow up with because it seems so common to us. I think Bianca is finally starting to realize how uncommon her life really is.
I am so very thankful to be out her and have the ability to share and show another new sailor the ropes. Our friend Had, joined us from inland and is now captaining Moonlight. He had NEVER sailed before and now he is single handing. WE are SO very proud of him and we hope that we can have some of you out to experience the live aboard life, when this whole crazy COVID-19 thing is over. If you are interested send me an email.
