Recently we decided to purchase a two masted 70ft wooden schooner in Brazil. The fun detail about our story is that the boat we bought was sinking and relying on many bilge pumps to survive so we had to lift it onto the dry to start a full refit.
In this episode we sand the hull to find out that what lies under the paint and dirt is a bunch of bad news and a lot of work! Watch us sand plank after plank (don’t worry, we sped it up a lot) and reveal what the plan is for our rebuild! But, in case you are wondering… we are not gonna give up.
