We did a quick trip to Block Island located just 12 miles off the coast of mainland Rhode Island and had an absolute blast. Made it to Bristol and ran a bunch of errands. Got to meet up with some awesome people and some minor projects done (like fixing ‘merc’edes) and it was time to head out. Our first overnight sail. Call it a passage, but it wasn’t much of a passage at 2 knots!
It was absolutely beautiful though, taking it in shifts, listening to the nothing but ocean lapping against the hull. Pretty incredible.

Here’s what we *think* we know about her past. Keep in mind we bought her at auction without ever meeting the owner! The owner was sailing along and ran aground – hard. Hard enough that the keel pivoted and pushed the aft end up into the hull. This force cracked the internal grid in several places and broke a portion of the grid free from hull.
