Our mast is the last piece of the boat that has been untouched by us. It was replaced in 2004 by the previous owner and is still in good shape despite the paint failing in a few spots and some corrosion under the winch plates.
In 8 days we will have:
– removed the paint
– done some repair welds
– installed new self railing winches
– slapped some Nyalic on the aluminum (leaving it bare!)
– installed a new masthead light
– new furler and rigging
