Working in this area has been an emotional rollercoaster. (Support the build and get your name in our Hull of Fame! https://www.patreon.com/mjsailing)
Things for me (Jessica) have been quite busy, as I was determined to tackle and finish the project of painting under the forward bunk. This is the FIRST area I attempted my fairing at, and would go back and forth to it so many times, as I began to focus on other areas like our cabinets.
The only problem is, the strange curves in here make it a world away from the plumb and level cabinets I’ve been working on, but I’ve been trying to treat them as if they were the same. Trying to perfect that area, even though it didn’t need it.
Well, after getting very frustrated with my beginner results, I knew I had to suck it up and keep moving forward. Which has now led to….the very first coat of paint on our catamaran!!
Check it all out in our newest episode.
We hope you enjoy!
Much love from Annapolis!
