FIRST SAIL on our NEW CATAMARAN!! – Sea Trials of the Max Cruise 44 SC (MJ Sailing – Episode 241)

FIRST SAIL on our NEW CATAMARAN!! - Sea Trials of the Max Cruise 44 SC (MJ Sailing - Episode 241)

Our first sail, we hit 5.2 knots of boat speed in 5 knots of wind!!

Well, we don’t want to spoil too much for you, but as you can tell by the title of this episode, we are smitten. And although we were not sailing in perfect conditions, or the sails were not always properly trimmed (this was literally their first time up) we still managed at one point to go faster than wind speed.

And that is exactly what we were hoping for!!

We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did while filming – and make sure to stay tuned for some very exciting news following our second day of sea trials.
