In this episode, the journey south towards our atoll destination continues. We set off from the Telos islands planning an overnight sail with the full moon. The glassy seas soon become a rough sail with little sleep as we arrive to the Mentawais town of Tua Pajet. Ruined from the sail, we need time to recooperate before continuing on.
With an empty freezer, Yosh heads out spearfishing and returns with the biggest Mangrove Jack he has ever speared!!
Continuing south once again, we anchor in a bay where only weeks before a surf charter vessel dragged anchor and got smashed up on the reef. Another shipwreck in this area…. A friendly reminder of how lucky we are.
