We also share the important fact that many seem to not understand that catamarans can and do sink and watertight bulkheads alone do not prevent it. The determining factors in whether you sink or not are shared in this video and the main factor that most brands do not even consider are AIR TIGHT VOIDs… Also watertight bulkheads often have holes in them to drain water to the SINGLE bilge pump in that hull which means that the bulkhead is NO LONGER WATERTIGHT. More about that in future episodes…
