The shipyard period continues as we have the sail drive torn completely apart and siting on the bench, leaving a 1ft hole in the bottom of the boat.We have a cracked flange, which I don’t want to just weld as it stops the ocean from pouring into the engine room, so we send Jamie to San Diego to see if he can source the part. I then have some light hearted fun with Riley from Sailing La Vagabonde in a bathtub, but talking about a serious topic, lightning.
