After ripping the boom vang out of the mast, we haven't had the opportunity to really test out how good at sailing our new boat is. With all the recent engine upgrades and repairs complete, we are setting off once more on a 140 nautical mile sail down to Pangkor marina to collect some more items for the new boat!
With some light conditions on day one, we sailed as a cutter rig to windward and enjoyed the smooth fast sailing. The folowing day a building sea and stronger winds aft of the beam, meant we were flying and sailing into the double digits!!
