This week we share initial choices about our sails for our Portofino 52 aluminium catamaran and the unique Gennaker by One Sails called a Power Reaching Furler – or PFR for short! his amazing sail uses dyneema in the luff to eliminate the need for a cord, making it much lighter, more powerful as there is more sail area and also able to kept up permanently while sailing. It eliminates the risk of unfurling that we have experienced with the Code 0 and the hassle of having to pack it away every time you raise or drop it….
We also share the online process of designing the colours of this PFR and reach out to you all to help us choose the design – one of 3 – white diamond in the centre, black diamond or black and grey. What do YOU think??
We also share the terrible info about the Hurricane Beryl disaster in Grenada this week with donations being asked for to “Rebuild Carraicou”. Their island have been devastated with 98% building damaged or dsitroyed and total destruction of their farms, natural habitat, communications and power systems….
There is also the dilemma of why so many of our regular viewers are being Unsubscribed and while we think it may be clicking errors, we would really like to know if anyone has any other ideas why this might be happening…. It is a big mystery because we see the Subscriber numbers fall at the very start of every video release!!!!
