The last couple of years orcas have been attacking boats around Spain and Portugal. The area between Barbate and Gibraltar seems to be the rudder biting hot spot for them. Playing games or taking revenge, not very relevant. We just want to bring the boat safely back to La Grande Motte. The most effective strategy seems to be to stay as close to the coast as possible, so that’s what we will do.
