Replacing the cutlass bearings on our Aluminium Crowther .

What are cutlass bearings? What do they do and how often should they been replaced? We are answering these questions in todays .

We have dropped our rudders, taken the props off, and the shafts out and we are now on the job of replacing our cutlass bearings. These bearings didn’t want to come out first go, they were in there good, we took the heat gun to the outside to loosen up the epoxy and they slid out like a charm.
