Watch how we upgrade both security and style with this simple install of a new door handle and lock from SouthCo.
.
.
This week we’re back to focusing on the cockpit doors. Now that we have them primed and in place, it’s time to get them locked up.

Last summer we mentioned that we’re partnering with SouthCo for a lot of our hardware, so as soon as we were at the stage to be able to lock our doors up, we knew where to turn.

Matt will walk you through each step, from why we chose this handle and set for marine environments, to prepping the door, drilling the mounts holes, and getting everything aligned smoothly for a perfect fit. (Easier said than done in some areas.)

We’re excited to begin installing this hardware not only for it’s functionality, but because of the sleek finish and style it adds to our boat.

Yet another project with more steps than one could imagine, but we’ll sleep a lot better each night now, outside the tent, knowing we’re properly locked up.

We hope you enjoy!

Much love,
Jessica, Matt & Georgie
