We woke up to an incredibly calm morning anchored in a beautiful bay at Koh Mak, Thailand. With the water like glass and the jungle surrounding us, it was the perfect start to the day.
After taking the dinghy ashore, Chloe and I went exploring through the jungle and stumbled upon something we definitely weren’t expecting — a hidden “Love Garden” filled with unusual life-size sculptures tucked away among the trees. Chloe’s reaction was priceless!
After that surprising discovery, we found a small beachside resort serving breakfast right on the sand… and it only cost $3 per person.
Back on the boat, we hoisted the sails and made our way south to Koh Kood, one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. The bay there was absolutely stunning — crystal clear water, quiet beaches, and lush jungle everywhere.
We dropped anchor, headed ashore, and discovered yet another gorgeous beach and resort tucked away on the island.
Days like this are why we love sailing Thailand.
