Sometimes everything just comes together for the perfect day on the water!
We leave Onancock, Virginia, and sail 40 miles south down the Chesapeake Bay to beautiful Cape Charles. With the wind behind us, flat seas, and an average speed of over 6.5 knots under sail, it really doesn’t get much better than this!
Once we arrive, we explore the historic waterfront town of Cape Charles, wander through the charming downtown shops, and relax on its beautiful white sand beach.
Cape Charles is also our staging point for the next big adventure — rounding the notorious Cape Hatteras! Now we just need the right weather window.
