Mahon harbour in Menorca is one of the biggest natural harbours in the world and a great place to hang out. With our new dinghy and anchor delivered there as well it feels like Christmas!
But there’s much more to Menorca than Mahon and we are keen to explore the fabulous calas in the North of the island. But after a couple of days in Fornells, another great natural harbour, we cross to Sardinia. It’s a two night crossing to get to Sardinia and after a slow start we get good wind and make great progress.
The first thing that hit us about Sardinia was the clarity of the water. It really is like a swimming pool. A perfect place for Judy to practice diving with the snorkel and for me to film some anchor tests with what we are now sure is the best anchor available. Want to know what it is? You’ll have to watch!!
