After many hours of sweat, a few hundred drops of blood, and some tears, Avocet was finally returning to the water after her long boatyard stay, 53 days later. In this video, we wrap up painting by incorporating an unexpected galley item as well as discuss the differences between a feathering prop and a fixed blade as we share one of our recent hardware upgrades. Despite Avocet being afloat again, there is still much more work to do. Fair winds!

Edit :In addition to donating our YouTube earnings to the #CreekFire victims, we will be keeping a running linktree of the GoFundMe’s for the families in need. Please check out the list so far, help if you can, and share if you can’t 💕 https://linktr.ee/SailingAvocet

Just a reminder: you can help raise money for the fire victims by watching our youtube videos. Every view on our latest 3 videos earns money that will be donated at the end of this month and next!
