It took three nights and nearly three days for Snow Gum to take us from Milford Haven to Cherbourg. She behaved perfectly. She did all her own sail changes. She did every tack all by herself. She didn’t make Carolyn sea sick at all. And by the way, I can offer you a special, limited time deal. I have been asked to sell a large bridge in Sydney and can give you a very good price. 🤥

The trip went well. We had scary-big head-on seas around the Land’s End TSS. Plenty of hull slamming and water over the bow. We had splashes into the forward head from an open dorade. I thought they were meant to keep the water out? Oh, and our radar wasn’t working properly for the whole trip. We are talking with Navico to try and figure this out. It looks like it might be a problem with the NEP-2 ethernet router. Sigh.

Regards from Rick and Carolyn. 🙂
