Ladies and gentlemen, we are finally ready to splash! We throw a solid epoxy barrier coat onto Parlay’s hull, then 2 coats of antifoul, and finish up a bunch of last minute jobs before she is finally ready to be launched after 10 months in the shipyard, and another 6 months before that getting worked on in the marina in Linton Bay, Panama.

All of our troubles began when we found broken bulkheads on our lagoon 450, and had to figure out how to fix them, to then also get struck by lightning. The plan is to circumnavigate the globe, so we also did some much needed upgrades while we are in the shipyard…

SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. They found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are almost ready to cross the Pacific Ocean!!
