After two days and seven hours of nonstop sailing up the California coast, we anchored in San Francisco Bay’s Clipper Cove, located between Treasure and Yerba Buena Island. We learned a lot about the artificial island and how it came to be, including its toxic history and hopeful future thanks to the Treasure Island Museum.
