This is a special video, I tour Tapio’s Swan 55, which is entering the Ocean Globe Race (around the world). The race is starting tomorrow Sunday 10th of September. Tapio himself has experience from three other round-the-world races, two of them solo aboard his Asteria in the Golden Globe Race. We take a look at some of the features that make this Swan 55 specially suited for real bluewater sailing. In this video we also talk about how Tapio’s previous boat Asteria sank and what we could all learn from that.
