Now that we have reached our destination in Indonesia, it has been a nice feeling too slow down and relax a little. The contrast of life in a remote far out anchorage in our very own paradise, compared to the hustle and bustle of the year is a rewarding feeling and one we have enjoyed sharing.
We have been travelling with 2 extra crew members, Nick and Kelsey… we first got these guys onboard to assist with the sail across from Malaysia as Bonita was still recovering from surgery, bu now that we have arrived and explored the islands a little, it is time to bid our farewells to the crew.
Whilst Nandji II has been giving us a few challenges along the way, moving forward, it is time for us a family to become confident in handling our boat ourselves and enjoy this time together cruising the west sumatran islands of Indonesia
