3000 mile Pacific Crossing Off To a Shaky Start… (Part 1)

3000 mile Pacific Crossing Off To a Shaky Start... (Part 1)

Welcome to part 1 of our Pacific crossing series! We finally set sail across the largest ocean in the world from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and sail 3000 miles to the Marquesas islands, in French Poynesia. But we get off to a very rough start for one of the crew, who has a panic attack at the thought of being so remote in the pacify ocean, and understandably so!

SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are almost ready to cross the Pacific Ocean!!
