Its a race against the clock to somehow get information from a disaster zone on the other side of the world, as the yard and the salvager put the pressure on.
Can I quickly find someone to properly check out the yacht and give me a decent report with no phones or electricity on the island?

Or do I just make an offer and risk losing money I don’t even have and can’t afford to lose, and roll the dice and bet that the mast is the only thing that needs fixing.
This is the only chance I’m likely to ever have of owning a 50ft Beneteau and starting my sailing dream.
